Remembrance Sunday Service (Sunday 12th November)

Ferintosh Free Church

On Remembrance Sunday at 12 Noon our community will be given the opportunity to remember those belonging to Ferintosh who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country during the First World War.  Everyone is invited to join us for our annual Service of Remembrance.

At the beginning of our Remembrance Service the names of the fallen engraved on the Great War Memorial Plaque at Ferintosh Primary School will be read out.

We honoured the memory of the fallen for the first time last year.  It was a solemn, personal and meaningful moment of commemoration which was greatly appreciated by all in attendance.

Our goal is to make our Remembrance Sunday Service an annual family event for the community of Ferintosh.  We hope the day will resonate with everyone particularly this year with ongoing conflicts to remember as well as conflicts past.

We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday at 12 Noon.

Calum Iain Macleod.
